Hello,
I'm Jordan Scott, an experienced copywriter from London. The aim is to dig deep into the mind of your target market to see what writing style will propel them into action.
My role entails carefully listening to your needs, whether you represent an agency, a brand, or an entrepreneur, and gaining a deep understanding of your business. From there, I craft carefully chosen words tailored to help you achieve your objectives. Additionally, I am a freelance copywriter, allowing me to focus solely on your needs without any external constraints.
My Story
Being a psychology graduate, finding my first job in the field was brutal. After countless failed interviews, I took a night shift security job to earn money. Mentally I had already told myself I wouldn't be here for long, but then life happened. Time flew by, and the pay wasn't bad, so I began to get comfortable (The worst drug in the world). Years breezed, and I'd built relationships with my supervisor and staff members to the point where we were casual.
I received an email that requested me to attend my boss' office at 10 am; as I got closer, a million thoughts went through my head, mainly because this had never happened before. He had spoken to me as a friend; seeing my intelligence, he knew I should strive to be more and didn't want to see me in the same place in 10 years. My mother mentioned the same thing, but hearing it from a work colleague resonated differently. This was the beginning of my comeback story (or villain arc). Writing has always been a part of my life, mainly used as escapism from my current situation.
I've always known about writing copy but have yet to see it as a potential occupation. I began my research and saw how in demand this skill was. An Instagram page offered a paid course, and well, I guess I took that leap of faith - without boring you any further after months of utilizing night shifts and 2034 cold outreach emails later, The Write Jordan was born. I've been all in ever since. 5 years on, I wouldn't change anything about my story.
